His sire has produced 30% mud winners, which is a very high percentage.   • jinlie01 · sometimes you have to go with your gut instincts icy. That's what kept me on the bandwagon of Shackleford in the Preakness after his Derby performance. Good thing I did. Still sticking with "Shack" in the Preakness because of his cruising speed and I think his running style will suit the Belmont turns. Kinda thinking about adding Brilliant Speed into the mix. He deserves a long look off his bloodlines and his grinding style of running. I know his dirt record is 0-3 but his Beyers have steadily improved and his KY Derby run wasn't bad considering he was running 8 wide on the far turn and only beaten less than 6 lengths. · 354 days ago ·
