It's kind ironic that races at 10 to 10-1/2f have always been believed to be Wigmore Hall's best trip. Yet the both of the G1 wins he has now on his resume' have come at 12f. What people here don't realize is that American industries from Vegas are looking to put in destination casinos and the govt wants the money without having to split it with the racing interests. The Ontario govt is more than willing to put over 60,000 people out of work to do this. If anyone in the US thinks this will not have a chilling effect on the industry here they are living in lala land. This is going to be the fate of NY racing.
