  • travel_vic · Victory Gallop was almost SIlky SUllivan like in his runs...I watched the Peter Pan and it was NOTHING like that. · 12 days ago ·

The Kentucky Derby madness is over. Now it’s on to Triple Crown mania, and with Orb winning in Louisville impressively, the dial has been turned up all the way to eleven. But Preakness 2013 is still a week away, so this weekend, a light one on the big race front, all eyes will point to Belmont Park ...Read More

  • Sully · I have to agree with ZATT. I truly hope they consider the Belmont because Incognito is definitely a horse on the improve. I think he'll like the added ground, and hopefully would be more forwardly placed as well. The only reason I didn't choose him over Saint Vigeur (SV) was because I simply felt SV ran against tougher. I was biting my nails when he came skimming up the rail though, I have to admit. Thought he was going to catch Abraham in the lane. · 13 days ago ·

If anybody was (using past-tense because the odds are that if you were there you wouldn't see this until you got home) at Aqueduct today and got a picture of Incognito today that'd be great?
Wow! Great run by Incognito in the 9th at Aqueduct!

Check out this A.P. Indy/Octave offspring's impressive as-the-rider-pleased maiden win, especially the internal fractions: http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/race/USA/AQU/2013/3/16/6/race-6 Not a bad run, considering the field was almost obscured in a blizzard on the far turn. One to watch this summer!
With only 7 ½ weeks standing between now and the Kentucky Derby, it’s time for any late blooming three-year-old out there to kick things into high gear. That is if their connections have any hopes of seeing them in roses. Don’t look now, but one such colt flying rather stealthily, so not as to show ...Read More
