  • buckpasser · One of my personal favorites. When she retired retired at seven years of age, having set records at 1 1/16, 1¼, 1½ and 1¾ mile. · 298 days ago
  • buckpasser · Inducted into the HOF and considered in the top 10 of all time great fillies and mares. · 298 days ago
Imp
She was coal black, with a white star between her eyes! Ruffian was almost coal black and she had a white star between her eyes!!!! the coal black ladys are awesome =D
Imp
the great coal black lady. One of the greatest horses. I also think Pan Zaretta should be mentioned too
Imp
I think she should be in the top fillies and mares with Winning Colors, Ruffian, Zenyatta and Rachel Alexandra, I mean she won 126 races, man thats amazing, hardly any horses have run that much since the early 1900's.
Imp
She is one of my favorites, unfortunately she is starting to fade from history, but I read a little about her and she was one of a kind as many said, and I wish more horses ran like they did back in the day, a wonderful mare.
  • crc1858 · As a matter of interest Imp does have a descendant stallion today, his name is Magnus Star. He descends from Imp's daughter Deviltree. Imp's story is amazing. You can read first hand accounts by searching for her in the early DRF archives . · 1344 days ago
  • JamminPark · Really! Wow thank you I will search for him, and she does have a wonderful story indeed. · 1344 days ago
