  • mjtags11 · That is sad. He has some talent, just never could show it. Then again, he is getting old and does not have a lot of time to release his talent. Hopefully he has a great retirement. · 33 days ago ·

Does anyone know if Ice Box will retire or not? I know he was supposed to but so far no news. Hope he stays active, has some talent, love this horse. Had an impressive run (compared to other races of his) in the BCC.
“He had a chip taken out of a knee,” Zito said. “We gave him a lot of time. He’s doing good right now. He’s doing super.”

What happened maybe Stay Thirsty got stung in the package by a big hornet and didn't feel quite like the best best 3 year old in the land. Now don't take offense Icy. • mjtags11 · In one way I congratulate Mike Smith and Drosselmayer, but on the other hand, I wonder why the stewards did not call interference on him for moving in front of Ice Box. Well, 6-1 (KD, Preak, Bel, Hask, Trav, and JCGC) on stakes races is good for my first year of handicapping. Can't wait till next year. · 94 days ago ·

why is ice box going to the classic? He has been terrible this year. He had two good races LAST year and has been awful ever since.

  • DeadHeat · I will be honest, I did not know Rule was in this race until the entries came out. Now that I know he is one that scares me. He is in good form and when he is in form he can be very very tough to beat. This is one horse that is tough and gritty that you will probably have to roll by on his outside to past, instead of outgutting him. · 158 days ago ·

  • GoTexas · Well, I don't bet on the horses but do have a list of favorites. I like HDG just because she's the only girl in the race and that's pretty gutsy to run with the boys.
