Mike De Kock was really praising his old Carnival staple, now a 9yr.old gelding, Hunting Tower recently in Dubai. Hunting Tower ran 4th in his first start at the 2011 Dubai Carnival on the turf at 10f. Then came back to beat the likes of Sabotage, Monte Alto, Jedi, and Once More Dubai in the Casthouse Trophy over 11f on the Tapeta surface. De Kock said Hunting Tower had a disappointing 2010 Carnival, but was now back in the kind of form he showed at Nad Al Sheba when he raced there in 2009. De Kock said he's still pondering whether to drop Hunting Tower back down in trip, and enter him in the Dubai Duty Free over the extended 9f? Or whether to extend him on out to 12f, and give Hunting Tower a shot in the Sheema Classic?
