  • travel_vic · I have attend pst draws for many big contests and the ends of the gate always are given out last, particularly on the rail · 12 hours ago ·
  • buds · 4-15 are preferred. 16 n out are bad unless u r big brown, nehro, animal kingdom, I think ill have another was out there somewhere as well. meaning it doesnt really matter if the horse is good enough. 1 is real bad · 11 hours ago ·

Returned to the work tab today. Went a 1/2 in :50.00. Todd Pletcher hopes to have him ready for the Gold Fever Stakes at Belmont on May 4th. Per DRF David Grening
Whoops posted on the wrong Havana. Anyone know why he hasn't run this year yet? Has his quarter crack healed?
Saturday, April 5 will be anchored by the Grade 1, $1 million TwinSpires.com Wood Memorial, Aqueduct Racetrack's major prep for the Kentucky Derby, to go along with three supporting graded stakes: the Grade 1, $500,000 Carter Handicap for sprinters, the Grade 2, $300,000 Gazelle for 3-year-old filli...Read More
So is Havana of the Derby trail if he is running in the bay shore?
  • Sullivan · Yes, he looks like their leading sprinter (ironically, considering Dunkirk was so effective going several turns) · 23 days ago ·
If they want to run him on april 5th then why wouldn't they go to the wood memorial where they could get some points instead of the bay shore

  • Sullivan · I think you sent it to the wrong Colin K. There is one from Boston, MA who delights in scantily clad women and red trucks. Im more into mares with only halters on and horse trailers. · 27 days ago ·
  • Northport · Never heard of homeless handicappers! Just sent a request to join · 27 days ago ·

If Havana is not running in the Swale then what race will he run in. If the owners have any asperations of running him in the Derby he's gonna need some points

  • Northport · That's what I have always assumed, Goblin. The Coolmore gang has their share of time in the spotlight, it doesn't make sense for them to try to get Havana to the Derby just for the sake of going when it is pretty common knowledge that shorter distances appear to be his niche · 45 days ago ·
  • Sullivan · Personally, I'd love to see him in the Ben Ali against older. Logically, hit an allowance, Derby Trial, True North or Met Mile. · 45 days ago ·
I hope they don't point him to the Derby. I don't think he will enjoy the distance and I don't want them rushing him and risking an injury. Let this horse tell them what to do.
  • Northport · I think the connections have had that in mind all year. · 45 days ago ·
  • Sullivan · There is only so much you can do with a horse like this. Juvenile champions usually don't keep it up. I haven't seen Havana since November, so I won't make any claims, but I'm wary. · 45 days ago ·
Sorry to hear Havana scratched.
