  • tmallios · There is no illusion here Karnack. There is a reality of youdouble and triple talking. The horses i mentioned came from the clouds, maybe their intellect was just that much greater than the closers that failed. Somehow they were able to conclude exactly what the right time in the race it was to make a move. Vic i made a mistake when i challenged you to give me a thought in your head. That did not work out to good for you,as evidenced by your sorry response. Go back to quoting quacks in print and Internet Media. At least that way it is not a reflection to your true Achilles heel. Lack and grasp of knowledge in Horse Racing. · 12 days ago ·

  • rafirox · Okay, thanks. Yes, seems right. No, I don't work for BH, if that is what you were referring to. Sometimes, from my experience, trainers say untrue things to the media, or try to hide their plans. Sometimes they do actually tell their plans. I was just trying to give my account of the situation. · 52 days ago ·
  • tmallios1 · Sullivan,Shug had the Rebel circled for this horse from early February. Do not believe the accounts portrayed. Shug is nobodys fool, tegardless who he confides in. Shug knew the eaxact stage that H.C. has been in for a while. It is not like he just woke up to it. The rebel is and was his only realistic shot at getting to the Derby. Give Shug and even Holendorfer a little more credit with knowing their horses. Ergo the tight lipped and broad staements. These guys do not want to be bothered by nonsense. I said it before and i said it with Shared Belief.I am far from being disrespectful to these trainers. Forget what they say or intimate. Look at what they do. Personall y, i give H.C a 50/50 shot at making the Derby. Like i said,Shug is as shrewd and smart as they come in this game. He does use the same sheets as i do and i send to you. Reading and interpeting those,Shug knows that he is not even in the area code to win the Derby. The nice quotes are always welcomed by Shug.He is a gentleman and never shows his hand. To anyone . So if and when you see him in the Rebel. Then you can possibly think the Ark. Derby. Til then,it is Internet chit chat · 52 days ago ·
This guy breezed flawlessly today. He looked absolutely incredible. Looks like a huge step from his last effort (Sam F. Davis) and should run big time in the Gotham. Surfing U S A looked pretty good, too, but Harpoon outworked him. Harpoon is looking very, very strong heading into the Gotham (1m). From Tapit, 8f should be perfect for him, and already with two good runs going the distance. Really liking this guy for March 1st.

Going into this weekend’s action on the Kentucky Derby Trail I was not too keyed up about either race. The Withers only had a six horse field and the Sam F. Davis field seemed to have a lot to prove. Well, despite these perceived shortcomings, both definitely provided some very exciting racing and r...Read More
