  • johnsnare · wiked Strong has a lot of distance in his pedigree. Looks like the 2014 derby will have a lot of front end runners, and a few with distance porblems. a horse that is comfortable coming off the pace, should have a distinct advantage. laying off the pace should have · 93 days ago ·

  • thepuresilverband@yahoo.com · Wicked Strong with breed Chrismatic of trainer Wayne Lukas who had won the Derby and 2nd with Chrismatic's stable mate "cat Theif" How many trainers have won 1st & 2nd in the kentucky Derby. (Baffert must be in envy). Later on Breeders Cup 3 Mill Classic, I bet a $5 Bet on Cat Theif & BudRoyal which got me over $3,000! Just a $2 exacta was over $1,000!! I like the breeding and both Chrismatic & Cat Theif had the fastest both almost record speed Beyers! Dont Discount Wicked Strong! · 85 days ago ·

Wicked Strong threw his hat into the Kentucky Derby 2014 ring with a sharp late running victory in the Wood Memorial. • travel_vic · I don't like the polycrap, it smells, gums up tails and throats etc., BUT since it is the surface I see everyday, I play it....I have a theory that the nature of a polytrack surface has to do MORE with the daily fluctuation in temperature and the drainage of the cushion MORE than the top surface itself, AND when it is close to wearing out, the front end bias is extraordinary.......Since about 10 tons of Jelly cord has been added here over the last two weeks, speed should NOT be to big a factor this weekend at Woodbine where just about all the races will be sprints. · 449 days ago ·

My favorite up-and-coming sire. Out of his first crop he sired Questing and Zo Impressive. IMO- he has the possibility to become a great sire. Has good speed and isn't too lacking in stamina American wise

If this year's crop of Triple Crown aspirants follows the trend of the last decade, chances are good that next year's Kentucky Derby hero has made between two to three starts, has been victorious in one or two of those starts and has placed in a stakes race, possibly graded, between August and Decem...Read More

  • bellesforever1 · LOVED Hard Spun..was my guy then and now..all heart all the time.To Vic..HS ran his heart out in The Classic and the Derby and in any other year would have had a great chance to win them both so saying he couldn't run past 9 panels isn't really fair because he did.He was at his best under that but he has nothing to hang his head about. He always showed up and ran his race and ducked no one.Thank you Brian for the walk down memory lane.Hard Sun Baby!! · 838 days ago ·

  • icyhotboo · Horse racing is the most luck dependant gambling I have ever participated in, either as an owner or bettor. As far as betting it runs in streaks as you know. That was a nice pick on the #2 Out of Bounds as I wouldn't have reversed it as I thought the #4 was by far the best. After seeing your remarks I looked a lot closer and loved the bloodlines.I also handicap a lot of races that are interesting with but no intention of betting, it's fun.
