Glad to see him win again.
I have some observations about this one... First of all, I think he really likes synthetics. He was 7th in the Cashcall (G1) on synthetics, but only by two lengths. He was 3rd in the El Camino Derby (G3) and 4th in Spiral Stakes (G3). Add that to his win today, and that is a solid record. I also think he benefits running at a bit shorter of a distance... Classic Keeneland surface. Crap shoot and you have no idea who will respond to it, in either a good or bad way. That's why i don't bet KEE, but if I did today, I would have hit it! Nice ride by Mario G, also.

A couple of Grade 2 winners for trainer Doug O’Neill worked together after the morning maintenance break for likely stakes engagements. Reddam Racing’s Handsome Mike, winner of the 2012 Pennsylvania Derby and a candidate for the Commonwealth Stakes (G3) on April 13, and Zillah Reddam’s Renee’s Titan, winner of this year’s Santa Ynez Stakes and a candidate for the Beaumont Presented by Keeneland Select Stakes (G2) on April 14, worked a half-mile in :47.80. Keeneland clockers caught the first quarter-mile in :23.60 and had a gallop-out time of 1:01.40 for five furlongs.
For the first time in its 76-year history, Saturday’s Grade I Santa Anita Handicap will feature a showdown between two past winners--Game On Dude, and Ron the Greek. Read More

He got 4th? I forgot to check lol silly me not too shabby. This horse is pretty solid, just needs more wins to be really solid.

The only thing this horse is 'solid' at in graded races is finsihing off the board. He needs to take a step (or multiple) down, and he might actually start winning something. · 106 days ago ·
