  • icyhotboo · I like the #2, just not today as I don't think he is anywhere close to form. #7 shows a classic performance prior to a big run today. #6 should improve and I do like Went The Day Well in the KD mix so he's logical. #3 is he just good or great, that last race was really a lot better than a 95 spd figure that's why I don't pay attention to sp figures as they are so subjective. That was a very good horse he beat who was going off at 1/5 by 10 lengths and he beat the rest by 10 lengths.A 1:16.4 at TP that's a big run. · 35 days ago ·

  • Mary Z. · I agree with you, icy, about not being able to ignore the speed of the 3. I've followed the 2 since before he started as he was one of those tried out without the L(but has since sadly added it.) Turf to dirt has paid off for me before, this time it's 5 mos. later for him. Then the 7 that can go ahead and use whatever speed he's got in this shorter race. Since we don't have much to go on with the 2, why not have another one up front? Finally the 6, at least consistent, has been this distance and should be around to close. · 35 days ago ·

120k for first in the Coolmore and yes he is nomintated
looks like chances for a date at Churchill on May 5 hinge on a win in the Coolmore.

  • daniclint · @icyhot-good horses overcome..Prospective did not get stuck down on the rail. Take Charge Indy would not have ran well at Tampa. You saw what happened to the speed. Of Course horse run in the middle to pass goofy. Are you telling me tracks do not have daily biases? Get real! · 74 days ago ·

The Tampa Bay Derby is in the books and Prospective stamped his ticket to Kentucky Derby 2012 with a solid victory over Golden Ticket on Saturday. • icyhotboo · A better explanation since Prospective was on the rail for the first half of the race is the better horses were running in the middle of the track where 89% of winners everywhere run on dry fast tracks. · 76 days ago ·

If Mark Casse had any doubts about Prospective fighting off Golden Ticket through the stretch run of the Grade II, $350,000 Tampa Bay Derby on Saturday, his 3-year-old colt did an awesome job dispelling them.Read More

The final graded route prep at Tampa Bay Downs for Kentucky Derby 2012 hopefuls will be run on March 10 and the full field is reduced by one with the defection of Take Charge Indy. #10 Take Charge Indy (3-1) added a touch of class to this event and figured to make his presence felt throughout but hi...Read More

A flashy juvenile son of Indian Charlie rolls down the Churchill Downs stretch in seemingly effortless fashion. • Winplacsho · I know speed figures aren't everything, but heard the Beyer came back a little light (around 80). Though it would be cool to see Jonathan Sheppard on the triple crown trail next year, it makes me wonder what type of horses were behind him. · 195 days ago ·
