Armada · Names may not affect the performance of a horse. But saying they don't matter is ridiculous. A horse with a catchy name will probably have more fans and than a horse with a generic name such as Princess or some other unoriginal and unappealing name. Then again, a good name is a matter of opinion. And the story behind a name can make an otherwise awful name more appealing. I was on the fence about the name Girls Rock N Rule, but the story of how she got that name makes me like it better. AfterHours · Not to contribute to the arguement, but names do make a difference on a horses popularity. My good friend (who has been deeply rooted in racing) couldn't stand IHA because of his name, even after winning the KD and Preakness, he still didn't like the horse. · 300 days ago ·

Cocoa knows much more than you do and would maybe share that knowledge with you if you'd stop picking on Cocoa.
