What the Horse Racing Nation is saying about Galileo...

Let’s take a look at some of her basic stats; Igugu, owned by a partnership that includes Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, and trained by Mike de Kock, is a 4-year-old Australian bred daughter of...Read More

There is much fertile land in the Ireland region known as the “Golden Vale” that Sadler’s Wells called home since 1984. This fertility certainly was indicative of the illustrious stud career that would follow for Coolmore’s most prized stallion.Read More

His yearling filly out Sanjida (half sister to Sarafina) just sold for $2,445,180!!!
What a week it's been for this long time top European sire standing for Coolmore-Ireland. In less than a week, Galileo is responsible for Nathaniel beating 2 of the top middle distances horses in racing in Workforce and St Nicholas Abbey in the G1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot. And today, Galileo was responsible for the amazing Frankel running rough shod over arguably the best older turf miler in racing in Canford Cliffs. Galileo just continues to produce top level horses year after year!!
  • yukichan · Galileo's reign continues in the 2 yr old crop of fillies too. At Curragh, Galileo's Was and Cabin go 1-2 in Breeders Fund Fillies, and Maybe wins the G2 Debutante. · 183 days ago ·

He's already odds-on for next season's Guineas, it will be interesting to see if he trains on to be a 3 year old. · 475 days ago ·

Sure, stallions go through good years and bad years with crops of foals, but particularly in terms of producing outstanding turf routers, Sadler’s Wells certainly earned his retirement in 2008, leaving his sons such as Galileo, Montjeu and the red-hot High Chaparral to admirably continue to pump out...Read More
