What the Horse Racing Nation is saying about Galileo...

perhaps going to be one of the greatest sire of all time. hes produced the up & coming Ruler of the World, Frankel, Igugu, Cape Blanco. New Approach, Red Rocks, Rip Van Winkle, Nathaniel, Treasure Beach, & many more. unbelievably impressive.
  • Dressage3295 · Excellent sire. If I had a mare who I could afford to send overseas- it would be to him! · 5 days ago ·

  • zxswordxz · Currently the best Sire. I can't believe american breeders are not pulling a "Arthur [Bull]Hancock" with this one like he did with Nearco. If you can't get the best Sire, settle for the next best thing, his son(Nasrullah). Bobby flay made a smart move, he already own breeding rights to Nathaniel. · 5 days ago ·

Who is Igugu? Some have called her Africa’s Zenyatta. That’s great, but what does it really mean? Let’s take a look at some of her basic stats; Igugu, owned by a partnership that includes Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, and trained by Mike de Kock, is a 4-year-old Australian bred daughter of...Read More

  • Buckpasser · Ambitious D. I have always wondered the same thing about Bullet Train. It would be an enormous irony. And Kay you are absolutely right about all of these great mares going to Frankel and the inbreeding issues. Also having such large crops of 120 plus foals only compounds the problem. Top breeders of the past limited their great sires foal crops for exactly this reason. · 109 days ago ·

His yearling filly out Sanjida (half sister to Sarafina) just sold for $2,445,180!!!
What a week it's been for this long time top European sire standing for Coolmore-Ireland. In less than a week, Galileo is responsible for Nathaniel beating 2 of the top middle distances horses in racing in Workforce and St Nicholas Abbey in the G1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot. And today, Galileo was responsible for the amazing Frankel running rough shod over arguably the best older turf miler in racing in Canford Cliffs. Galileo just continues to produce top level horses year after year!!
