Its too bad she's always going to live in her sister's shadow. the filly is pretty good, especially after today's prix vermeille.

  • medlocke · @shores, Galikova and Goldikova have the same trainer and owners!! Their owners have obviously been very supportive of the Breeders Cup races with Goldikova over the past few years. I'm quite certain that provided Galikova comes out of the Arc in good order with no complications? Head will likely have her on the same plane with Goldikova from France headed to Churchill Downs in November!! Galikova's win in yesterday's G1 Prix Vermeille at Longchamp gives her an automatic "win and your in" berth for the F&M Turf. Stacelita has acclimated and taken to racing in America very, very well. I see her as one of the top 2 or 3 fillies or mares likely for the F&M Turf. I also think Galikova would certainly make the short list.
