The Aidan O'Brien trained Gale Force Ten steps up beyond 6f for the first time today and wins the listed Elusive Pimpernel Patton Stakes over 7f on the all-weather at Dundalk in Ireland. If it turns out that Gale Force Ten is able to get a mile, I think he may very well be one of Coolmore's dark horses for the G1 English 2000 Guineas in May. Gale Force Ten has proven he's got a terrific turn of foot having twice run to within less than a length of the unbeaten Reckless Abandon in the G2 Norfolk Stakes at Ascot and G1 Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket. Really like this 3yo, a lot!!
