Since the turn of the century six Kentucky Derby winners have entered the Derby Trail eligible for a non-winner of two lifetime (N2L) race. These six horses did not win their second race until their three year-old campaign.Read More

  • charliep · The San Felipe is not at all a good indicator of success in the kentucky Derby. In the last 25 years, only 2 winners have won the Derby, those being Sunday Silence (who won the Santa Anita Derby) and Fusiachi Pegausus (who won the Wood). Alysheba ran 2nd in the 1987 San Felipe to Chart The Stars. · 405 days ago ·
  • charliep · The 3rd place finisher in the Bredders Cup Juvenile should get AT LEAST as many points as the horse that wins the San Felipe or the Tampa Bay Derby. We're talking about a Grade 1 champioship race versus a couple of Grade 2 races, one of which (Tampa Derby) should be a Grade 3. · 405 days ago ·
All told, Premier Pegasus won 4 of 5 starts, with one 3rd, and earned $293,400, but of course these numbers full of promise mean nothing. PrePeg was a horse with potential to be great. Maybe he would have been, or maybe not. We will never know. In one day, in one moment, in one split-second, a livin...Read More

  • PrePeg01 · I agree blooy...when the pace was sizzling..Pegasus was content to say behind and make his run after the 1/4 pole...if the pace is not fast in the Ky Derby or in SA Derby..I can see him being versatile enough to stay up closer (if need be) and still make a nice kick home. · 1113 days ago ·
  • brent.austin.neikirk · I was there when his daddy won it! I like this horse a lot! Has a great pedigree and shouldn't have a problem getting the 10f Derby distance. He has the tactical speed and he gets plenty of stamina especially from his BMS, Summer Squall and The Axe. I think he's starting to peak and he could run a big one come May 7th. · 1113 days ago ·
"Uncle Mo is the most impressive young horse I have seen since Spectacular Bid came along in 1978." Yes, you guessed it, the quote was made by yours truly. I am reminded of it every day on the front page of HRN. I am also on record as saying he is the closest thing I have seen to Seattle Slew since ...Read More

  • BrianBarnett · I like Premier Pegasis for his ability to be a deep closer. He has the late speed in a KY Derby that looks to be a fast pace. I believe Santa Anita switching to dirt will be a little stroke of Luck for the PrePeg Barn. · 1118 days ago ·

Not to be confused with Slim Shady, I have been wondering for some time just who the real Premier Pegasus is. • jinlie01 · Skydime...I want to join your group..how do I go about it? Btw..PrePeg should represent himself well but it definitely is a stronger more talented field he's facing in SV. But I like his tenacity and gameness..will see how speed holds. I expect bigger and better things from PrePeg through the prep races. · 1156 days ago ·
