I like this filly and DOJ for the Oaks. What's everyone's opinion on her?

  • drvivianbell · A shame, really. West Point has gone all out for the filly; I suspect we'll see more of her. She's a pretty girl, isn't she? · 769 days ago
  • Floridaf · I've liked Rose to Gold for some time. Deserving winner. · 769 days ago

Holy Cow Mott is stacked with 3 year old fillys this year and looks to be a great threat in that division.
That's a lot of money for a Flashy Bull filly, that has yet to win a stakes race. But, with Bill Mott as the trainer a stakes win is right around the corner.
Flashy Gray, a 2-year-old filly who broke her maiden by 10 ¼ lengths at Churchill Downs on Nov. 8, sold at the Keeneland November Sale on Tuesday for $775,000 to West Point Thoroughbreds and Tom Keithley. Erin Finley, director of communications at West Point Thoroughbreds, said Flashy Gray would be sent to trainer Bill Mott’s barn at Payson Park in Florida and is unlikely, although not completely ruled out, for the Golden Rod (GII) at Churchill Downs on Nov. 24.
Sold to West Point Thoroughbreds for $750,000 at the Keeneland November sale and to be trained by Bill Mott. Check her out, and take note of the quote by her original owner: http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/74418/flashy-gray-sells-for-775000-at-keeneland
