What the Nation is saying about Fast Bullet...

When working at Pimlico today; a group of us handicappers reviewed the past performances of 6/8/13 races. I noticed something of Fast Bullet I did not before. When reviewing his pars it came immediate that Fast Bullet liked to sit off the slower type pace, even though he had a quick E2, but a lower LP. Interesting, huh? Yet, he still won and he is improving. The pattern I have mentioned several times on this website (on my handicapping threads).. "ALL" horses going into form become more SUSTAINED, whil horses going out of form become EARLIER. However, Fast Bullet is the complete opposite. Fast Bullet, of course, is getting earlier as mentioned but also sustaining the same late kick. I think Bob Baffert's quarterhorse experience MIGHT have played a role in Fast Bullet's VERY GOOD pace improvement and early speed to late speed transition and energy distribution. The group at the track noticed this and put Fast Bullet's name on our bulletin board (any entrant worth watching) and we're definitely going heavy on him IF we get the right odds/ set up. Fast Bullet is looking very good in the sprint division and is the very early favorite for the BC Sprint. WATCH OUT for him and hope he stays healthy considering he is a big horse and the fragile sort.

  • LAZMANNICK · Amino actually Kona Gold was a long shot in that Breeders Cup. I think he finished mid-pack in that race. When he hit the top of his game he was exceptional. · 8 days ago ·
