Following his planned tilt at the G2 Osaka Hai on April 6th, Epiphaneia is then expected to make an appearance in the G1 Audemars Piguet QEII Cup at Sha Tin on April 27th over 1 1/4 miles
Very pleased for Epiphaeneia, who claimed the final leg of the Japan triple crown yesterday--the Kikuka Sho (Japan St. Leger's)-- with an emphatic 5-length win over a soft turf. Just a half-length runner-up in both the Japanese Guineas (Logotype) and Derby (Kizuna), the talented son of Symboli Kris S. sports a record of 2 wins, 2 seconds and one fourth from 5 starts. Next start looks to be the Japan Cup in which probable starters include Orfevre, Kizuna, Gentildonna (last year's winner), Gold Ship and Fenomeno.

Won the Kikuka Sho (Japanese St. Leger) by 5 lengths to Satono Noblesse with Bande coming in 3rd!
Epiphaneia won the 2013 Kobe Shimbun Hai (Japanese St. Leger Trial)!
  • jonquil · Sorry it took so long for me to actually announce this. I'd posted the results hours ago... and then got demoralized when I realized I have to go through it all again for the All Comers @ Nakayama and the maiden stakes @ Gowran Park. It took me ages to add all those runners that weren't in the database already between just this and the maiden race #5. · 1008 days ago
  • jonquil · So many runners, so little time! Next time I'm just gonna add everyone in advance one by one before race day or something, haha · 1008 days ago
