  • medlocke · Lookin At Lucky, Blame, and Quality Road have all raced very well this year on conventional dirt. But Zenyatta also handle's the surface very well herself. Lucky, Blame, and Q.R. are all very capable colt's. Capable of springing an upset on Zenyatta if she's not at her dead level best at Churchill Downs. That said, she's been at her best 19 consecutive times. So I just don't see her suddenly "spitting out the dummy" so to speak in her 20th, and likely final race of her career. It's also a huge advantage to Zenyatta that she get's a little weight given to her, instead being the one carrying a boulder while the others carry a brick. Horses that Zenyatta have given a huge weight allowance to haven't been able to beat her. I just don't see her getting beaten with the boys having to concede weight to her.
