What the Nation is saying about Easter Gift...

He loves Parx, I hope Chad Brown keeps it up with him.
He chased down and dueling pair of horses and ran right by them.
Jim Bakke and Jerry Isbister’s 5-year-old Cool Blue Red Hot finished a good third behind Jackson Bend in the $100,000 Hal’s Hope Stakes (G3) at Gulfstream Park a year ago and was entered to make his first start since then in Sunday renewal of the one-mile test.Read More

  • ruffian75 · icy, funny you mention that. Romans was the original trainer, but the owners(s)? decided to transfer First Dude to Baffert. It might have been for their aspiration to go west, where there was nice purse money. But, it seems, that First Dude got the better of Game On Dude, before succumbing to injury. Now, GOD is the kingpin. Funny how time changes things. · 232 days ago ·

  • ScottDick · Dangerous for anyone who doesn't like Easter Gift when ZATT and Hoosier State of Mind are on him! Traditionally the Indiana Derby is won by the up and coming three year old, (Brass Hat, Misremembered, Wilburn, Star Dabbler. Tin Cup Chalice.) I definitely think Easter Gift fits that mold. · 232 days ago ·

  • jasen.mangrum · You know I'll be in there. One sneaky horse I'll throw in there is Morgan's Guerilla. You know how I'm a sucker for inside speed horses in route races at Hoosier, no matter how out matched they might be. · 232 days ago ·

As the cornerstone race at his favorite racetrack, it is no wonder that Nick Zito loves the Travers. In fact, no trainer has started more horses than the popular 64-year-old conditioner in the $1 million race.
