Racing today for a tag ($25K) Saratoga R4, w/ Midnight Taboo (no tag). Wish they would retired him already--he's made close to $600K.
On August 22, Ea worked 3F in 37:20 (4/15) at Saratoga.

  • rafirox · What do you mean it would fall off te tab? At my hometrack, where I go in the morning every once in a while, they'll breeze 41 and change and still be on the tab. Sometimes even :42. And mind you; you should not make conclusions of these works. We all know we have NO IDEA what occured in this work. What lane was he in? How much did the excersize rider weigh? Was he in company? Was he training alone? Under different equipment? etc, etc.. -smh- :). · 478 days ago
  • Sullivan · He said that the time was slow enough to not be a work but just a breeze, which would be unrecorded. That's all he said, he didn't refer to what the time meant or if it was important or not. Putting words in peoples mouths' gets annoying real fast · 478 days ago
On May 18, Ea worked 3F in 40:44 (8/9) at Aqueduct.
This horse not only won at 1 1/2 and 1 3/4 miles, he won a 2 mile dirt race back on August 13th. I'd love to see a little distance horse rivalry between him and Atigun.
  • cocoa2 · What people don't know is that this horse started in England, and went to Dubai before we got him. He can run all day. · 558 days ago
Big fan of this horse. He's amazing.

  • Mary Z. · Yes, I hope he runs in the "marathon", by today's standards, races: Brooklyn, Greenwood Cup, BC Marathon. · 558 days ago
  • cocoa2 · Imagine the tales he tells to the colts. lol. · 558 days ago
On March 5, Ea breezed 3F in 40:02 (5/5) over Aqueduct's inner track.

  • Mary Z. · BC Marathon contender. You read it here first. · 561 days ago
  • Floridaf · I agree, Mary Z. This one relishes distance, and if continues to do well, then he certainly deserves the shot. Not to mention it would be rather like a Cinderella story for DAS. · 560 days ago
On February 13, Ea breezed 4F in 51:92 (14/14) on the inner track at Aqueduct.
This old boy can run all day... he's won at 12 and 14f!

  • shores · That's a cool fact, AoR. He is 9 years old, and it seems to me that the winner of the Marathon is always an older horse who progresses slowly but is consistent, and he fits the bill. As long as he keeps progressing, I don't see why they won't keep him routing. I'm not saying he'll make it in November, but it's about time Drawing Away Stable had a BC horse. · 613 days ago
  • Floridaf · You and I are going to have to have a chat, AoR, since you're a literature nut like me. But back to the point, I like Ea, too. It's just too bad he's a gelding because he could have provided a nice stamina influence in the breeding shed. · 612 days ago
