Older Comments about Dunkirk...

Named 2 yr olds..... http://cs.bloodhorse.com/blogs/maidenwatch/pages/dunkirk.aspx
I want to see his sons and daughters race soon.
He is going to be a just like Midnight Lute at producing great horses.
He will be an awesome sire!
  • Lisa111 · Along with Jackson Bend and Shackleford, I miss seeing this horse the most. The three of them were terrific. · 1169 days ago
Just read on DRF that Dunkirk is scheduled for his first comeback work at Palm Meadowns on Dec 14th or 15th.
  • arazi · Oh, yes... Dunkirk, I remember him... the wonder horse? · 2357 days ago
  • cigar · Everyone is quick to rail on Dunkirk, but he ran second to the very talented Quality Road and then despite a bad Derby experience, led all the way in the Belmont until the end. Yeah, he's not Cigar, but he's useful. I look forward to his return. · 2357 days ago
Dunkirk stumbled badly, twice, coming out of the gate. Definite excuse. He'll be back later this year, and I'm looking forward to see him.
Where was DUD-kirk on Saturday? Another goose for Pletcher on Derby day... what's that like 0 for 35? OK, Friesan Fire ran horribly, but at least he had solid excuses. Did Dudkirk have any excuses?
Let's just hope Dunkirk doesn't turn out to be this year's Bellamy Road or my worst Derby pick on record...the immortal Bandini.
I wonder if Dunkirk is having some... issues...
He ran extremely well considering... still lots of talent, and a nice future. Don't thumbs him down yet.
Lots of talent, ran very well in the Florida Derby, just got nudged by a better horse... and maybe a surface tilted the other way...
