Prior to last year's G1 Dubai Sheema Classic I picked Very Nice Name as a horse that would be a good e/w bet at big odds capable of running into a place and he did just that, finishing 3rd behind St Nicholas Abbey & Gentildonna. This year, along those same lines of picking a horse you'll likely get long odds on for a good e/w bet, I'm sticking with the Qatar form again and picking Dubday. What Very Nice Name did last year prior to the Sheema Classic, winning all the major G1 races in Qatar, Dubday has done this year and he's beaten Very Nice Name in two of those races. Dubday's won the Qatar Derby, Qatar Gold Trophy(formerly the H H Heir Apparent Trophy), and H H Emir's Trophy. This horse has got a wicked turn of foot and a killer closing kick. But don't take my word for it, the replays of Dubday's last 2 wins in Qatar in the Qatar Gold Trophy & H H Emir's Trophy can both be seen on YouTube. My advice would be check it out because I think this horse is more talented than Very Nice Name and I'm not entirely convinced this year's renewal of the Sheema Classic will be as deep as last year's field was, IMO.
