While every Tom, Dick, and Harriet is publishing their Eclipse Award ballots this time of year, I have decided to put a little different spin on things. A decidedly horse racing centric spin that is. • fran.doos · That was great.......Didn't finish what I started to say. "Powers to be"-why in the world do they now have two special awards; one to team Z and one to Claiborne. I understand the "special award" is not usually given so why now? I think it diminishes the Eclipse Awards to give such an award when it seems to be a way to keep everyone happy. Or, do they already know the winner of Horse of the Year? It just seems rather strange-guess that they can do as they please since they have no guidelines. · 399 days ago ·

1.)
