  • mike · Musket Man , welcome back... I hope after Saturday your connections are looking at the classic rather than the mile.. Horses you destroy are coming back and winning major races all over the country... QR is vulnerable at 1 1/4 ...Blame proved this weekend without you going after QR in the Whitney he and his perfect trip would never have gotten QR...He couldnt even get close to Haynesfield...And Derek Ryans comments after the Whitney were obviously on the money...Asmussen and Dominguez were riding the Whitney in awe of QR..Your connections had the balls to take it to QR like you do every race your in and thats what makes you the great horse you truly are...Hopefully Saturday goes well and off to Churchill you go for a meeting With Zenyatta... WELCOME BACK MUSKET MAN.... show the world you really are the man..... · 961 days ago ·

  • cugel the clever · Musket Man is an inspiration. Gives 110% every single race. He may not be #1 in talent but he's got more guts and determination and will to win than any other major stakes player currently running. I hope he runs in the Classic. He'd be an outsider but not an impossible winner if he gives his usual best and the prima donnas are having a bad day. · 961 days ago ·

DONN HANDICAP   Todd Pletcher (Quality Road) – “Not much to say after a performance like that. • Rossington · Quality Road, as anyone who has followed his career would know, has done his best racing at Gulfstream Park, without a doubt. He loves that track, and always run's well over it. Even conceding the six pounds that he'll be giving to the most likely potential contenders, I still like Quality Road to win the Donn Handicap. Although, the extra weight may make the race a bit closer than if they were all carrying equal weight. Quality Road to win. Mambo Meister to place. Duke of Mischief to show. · 1205 days ago ·

  • rossington · I think if he win's the Classic he should be considered for HOY. Also, what if Zenyatta wins the Lady's Secret, runs her record to 13-0 (tying Personal Ensign) and then came back and beat the boys in the B.C. Classic, ending her season or maybe even her career at 14-0. If that scenario comes to pass,IMO, how could you deny her at the very least co-HOY? · 1329 days ago ·

  • Medlocke · I noticed on their cover page underneath the picture of SummerBird that it says SummerBird completed the sweep or tri-fecta of the 3 New York races, then stated that it hadn't been done since Temperence Hill did it in 1980. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Easy Goer the last to do it in 1989? · 1329 days ago ·
