Dialed In will undergo surgery to remove a chip from his right knee and will miss approximately 60 days of training. This chip is not as severe as the last one, according to trainer Nick Zito.

  • Mary Z. · TBDF, Well most of this thread was just cocoa playing as he frequently does. Sorry, extreme tiredness today, but here goes: Sway Away is a fast closing sprinter BUT, he is as of this date, an allowance winner, having placed in grade2 stakes 3 times. I don't hide that he is my favorite, and that brings on sometimes odd attacks. He didn't get into the Derby, disappointed in the Preakness, has bad knees, yes, a sway back, missing a couple of teeth from the Rebel last year, incredibly good breeding, and I don't mind sharing him, as of course he's not mine. Dialed In fired a 4f bullet in :47.41 (1/39) at Palm Meadows on Jan 12. That was his 3rd bullet from as many works since returning to training on 12-13.

Dialed In started the New Year off with a zippy 3 furlong move in 35.04. The work was the fastest of six horses for the distance on a track rated fast.
Watching Dialed In come down the stretch in the Florida Derby is a thrill I will never forget. I am glad to read he's working at PmM...maybe will be racing during the GP meet?

  • shadowno · Quiet Little Table was an above average horse (not a Forego by ay means most days). Won the Carter @7F and the Suburban at 10F when the Suburban still held a great deal of prestige. He'd probably be a Horse of the Year type now except he was a gelding and raced 50+ times which is about 40 more than even the good horses of the past few years manage. · 162 days ago ·
