Dance Card has been retired and will be covered by Medaglia D'Oro in 2014

Aidan O'Brien (Cristoforo Colombo, Turf Sprint) – see European report Bob Baffert (Book Review, Filly & Mare Sprint; Secret Circle, Sprint) – The trainer’s sprinters – the colt Secret Circle and the filly Book Review – both were trackside Thursday morning for good gallops heading into their assignme...Read More
I think this one gets it done in the F&M Sprint. She ran huge last time running totally against the rail bias at belmont in her last and this being the second off the layoff will see big improvement. Her and Dance to Bristol are my two choices for this race
Buff Bradley (Groupie Doll, Filly & Mare Sprint) – Fred Bradley, trainer Buff Bradley, Carl Hurst and Brent Burns’ defending Filly & Mare Sprint champion Groupie Doll visited the paddock, jogged 6f and galloped 1 1/4m under exercise rider Jada Schlenk Wednesday morning. Read More
Aidan O'Brien (Cristoforo Colombo, Turf Sprint) – see European report Bob Baffert (Book Review, Filly & Mare Sprint; Secret Circle, Sprint) – Trainer Bob Baffert Tuesday morning said the heat was on with his Sprint entrant Secret Circle, a quick 4yo whose career has shown flashes of brilliance – whe...Read More
Kiaran McLaughlin – Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin reported that both Dancing House and Sky Painter will run in the Juvenile Fillies Turf on Friday. Dancing House had been pre-entered in the Juvenile Fillies as well. Read More
If this filly learns how to run straight....... Insane potential. Anyone knows when she will be racing again? I am intending to bet heavier next time on her.
J.Rosario is set to ride Dance Card in the BC F-M Sprint.
  • tmallios1 · This move shows that she is ready and the intent is strong.Joel , before he got injured late in the summer. He was the #1 jockey in America. For them to secure his services, and he really never rode many horses for this powerhouse stable before. This speaks volumes. · 184 days ago ·

Kiaran McLaughlin ‏@KPMRacingStable 6m We are pointing for the Breeders' Cup F&M Sprint with Dance Card!
Making her first start in more than five months, Cluster of Stars promptly seized the lead from the inside and never looked back en route to a decisive victory on Saturday at Belmont Park in the Grade 2, $300,000 Gallant Bloom Handicap. Read More
Dance to Bristol, a winner of seven straight, heads a talented group of fillies and mare sprinters entered in the Grade 2, $300,000 Gallant Bloom Handicap, the featured race on Saturday at Belmont Park. Read More
Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin is strongly considering bringing back G1 winner Dance Card in the G2 Gallant Bloom Hcp at 6 1/2 furlongs. He cited where she is and the possible competition in the Beldame (Royal Delta) should he wait to go that avenue.

  • Mary Z. · Is it possible that the Gazelle has suffered a change in field class since it comes after the Ladies' Classic? Just a historical question. Hopefully, this filly will recover well. · 402 days ago ·

  • travel_vic · when did they shorten the Ladies? If this trend continues in about 30 years class horses will be running with 7 furlongs as the marathon distance. · 402 days ago ·

why it was removed from the race?
horseracinghl ‏@horseracinghl McLaughlin adds that G1 winner Dance Card "is doing great at Palm Meadows" galloping daily with G3 Sabin among races under consideration.
  • rafirox · I(Some might recall) was incredibly impressed with her Gazelle win. I think she can challenge RD and MMA in that division next year. Possibly, the champ of the division, and I know who she is up against. · 457 days ago ·

very exciting filly for next year
Godolphin and Kiaran McLaughlin have a talented three-year-old filly who runs rings around her opponents before running erratically down the stretch, but ... this one is not named Questing. Read More

  • Linda in Texas · I think Dance Card is lovely. Watched her race, watched her win. So what if she veered toward the center. When she goes out to exercise where the heck do you think she runs. Most are exercised right down the middle of the track. It boggles my mind why bearing away from the rail surprises so many. · 506 days ago ·

  • Mary Z. · It seems that she's drifted to some degree in all of her races. Front wraps added after the first race, "off behind" and sent to the farm when her trainer first got her. His words in this report about Questing's ankle chip surgery: http://www.drf.com/news/questing-has-chip-removed-race-2013. When she beat older females it was in a 25K optional claiming race. How good is she? Good enough to run win with the physical problems that she does have, but for how long? I hope she gets some time off now, and of course, good luck to her. · 506 days ago ·

Shes one heck of a horse and has dominated her last 4 races! Today in her first G1, she ran away with it.
