What the Horse Racing Nation is saying about Curlinello...

any news on him?
It is now 2011 and that means we have officially embarked on the Kentucky Derby trail. Here in the East it’s been difficult to see even the slightest hint of rose blossoms buried beneath 20-30 inches of snow drifts. But, heck, they’ve already run the first Derby prep (the Count Fleet Stakes at Aqued...Read More

Curlinello is NOT a half brother to Lookin at Lucky OR Curlin. He’s a full brother to Arlington Classic winner Pleasant Strike, but has a strong dirt pedigree, especially for the mud. His phenomenal distaff family includes second dam Champion Minstrella, Saint Liam and traces back to the blue hen Gallorette.

  • LDP · As I said I think he just needs some time to put it all together, that and distance. Remember Curlin never even raced as a juvenile. · 1207 days ago ·

Does anyone know what race he is being pointed at? I thought i heard the Remsen then nothing.
Grade 3 Bold Ruler winner Bribon worked a half-mile Sunday morning in 47.23 over Belmont Park’s training track in preparation for his next start, the Grade 1 Hill ‘n’ Dale Cigar Mile on Saturday, November 27.   “Bribon seems to be in really good form,” said trainer Todd Pletcher of the 7-year-...Read More
George and Lori Hall’s Sweet Ducky proved a much-the-best winner in the $70,000 Seton Hall University Stakes at Monmouth Park on Saturday, besting his rivals by an impressive four lengths at the wire. In what looked to be a rematch of the Garden State Stakes run at Monmouth on Sept. 25, Sweet Ducky...Read More
I agree that he is DEFINATELY a horse to watch. He is a half brother to Looking At Lucky and Curlin. His pedigree screams class & stamina! He is one of my top picks for Kentucky Derby top honors.
OK, we’ve made it through September, picking up a few Breeders’ Cup horses along the way, and now it’s time to gear up for the big prep weekends at Belmont, Hollywood Park, and Keeneland, and, of course, at Longchamp. Only then will the BC races be truly defined. This past weekend saw several intere...Read More
The top flat offering on Saturday’s Monmouth Park-Meridian Health Steeplechase Festival card is the $100,000 Garden State Stakes for 2-year-olds, which goes as the fourth race on the program. The one-mile event drew a field of eight promising and lightly raced 2-year-olds, topped by Curlinello, a c...Read More
This is a colt with the pedigree to enjoy two turns and the clout of a distaff family to make him a serious horse to watch.
