Hello Janice,do not know how up to date you are with one of your Favs . I was just reviewing workouts for Saturdays card with my friends. They tell me that they showed Coup work very nice on 2/9/14 and then lit them up with a follow up work on 2/16. Sure this guy is gearing up for a return performance. Way they got serious on 2/16,can the Swale be in their plans?

  • tmallios1 · Janice i think he will run big. I was just talking on the phone with my friend JJ Toner who trains the #2 horse in the race.Even JJ sadly said,we are all running for 2nd.I will probably use THE #2 underneath in exactas and tris. Hope you enjoy the race. Like what you said about shortening Coup up. When he gets better schooled ,they can try stretching. · 54 days ago ·

  • tmallios1 · Janice rarely will you catch me rooting against my guy JJ Toner. This was one of them.Amazing Exacta and does not hurt with tris and Supers. I know JJ was ticked today ,because this horse had to run in a race he had no shot to win. But JJ loved his guy to run big. · 54 days ago ·

Is Off Derby Trail according to Rick Porter

  • Mary Z. · Not easy to be stuck on the rail going that fast, looking a bit rank, but not horribly so, but under that pressure. Then "checking". BUt, I wonder if he wasn't looking all that good after the race or the next morning, if that's it and he's off the Derby trail. Not a big fav of mine. Have to see where they run him next. Have to agree with whoever said the race set up for the winner. · 79 days ago ·

  • tmallios1 · Amino you know Hoboken better than i do. Have not been there in about 5 years. Trendy living area ,parallel to downtown west side of Manhattan. I just spoke to Snugg and gave him a suggestion. My friend owns a Warehouse for Apparel clients in Secaucus. It is about 2 miles away from Giants Stadium. Told Snugg to drive there and park the car in the lot. Worst case scenerio ,he can walk the 2 miles to the Stadium. He can walk off the 6 heros he will consume on his way there. Beats the Hudson frigid waters and also the long Bus and Train lines. Area is safe nad the cold does not bother him. After the game ,he can avoid the Lincoln Tunnel(who everyone will be using) He can use the Holland Tunnel. · 79 days ago ·

I really like CdG in the G2 Holy Bull. Not done handicapping and not sure who else I like (underneath), but CdG certainly is my pick to win. I'll definitely bet heavy on him, I think.

  • rafirox · Agreed, Icy. Cairo Prince was too much for either to handle. I didn't know that before the race, but it was pretty obvious. Speed duel or not, neither was beating Cairo Prince, · 82 days ago ·

No,he almost went down on the turn because he had great balance under neath him and he was so full of energy he could of gone around again. Coup was finished down the backstretch. · 82 days ago ·

I think everyone is on this horse cause of the same connections as Normandy Invasion. Its just like Ill have another and Know More, Know more was muched talked about after his first 2 races cause of the owner trainer connection like we connect the zayats and baffert getting a new horse we jsut assume its gonna be a good one like bodemeister. So in all we gotta look at the facts and figures.

  • southern.humor · Why wpuld pwople look to the triner that got 4th in the derby as the 'miracle' horse? The stupidly hyped because of connections is honor code. It does happen every year, but your looking at the wrong horse for connection hype horse - honor code already stole that slit, and I expect him to be about as successful as know more.... · 83 days ago ·

Could care less if you believe me or not. I don't report anything like this that I don't know for a fact. End of discussion as I won't go any deeper into how I know. You are free to believe what you want, it won't hurt me in the least or change what I know as fact -- at least in Porter's eyes.
