In the wake of the Monzante tragedy, a story on Paulick Report demonstrates how such endings can be avoided when alert and caring people intervene. Convocation, the last horse ridden by Ramon Dominguez, is being spared from a demise on the track.   • Sullivan · We do things right in Boston. At the end of the year we have a horses in training sale, and we even purchased a horse from that. Suffolk was also the first track to ban any trainer who slaughtered a horse and then it is still one of the most active in tracking down trainers. No track has more successful female riders than Suffolk either, between Jill Jellison, Andria Terrill, Tammi Piermarini, and Jacqueline Davis.
