With a little more than quarter mile left in the Arkansas Derby I hope Calvin shakes the reigns and sucks the other jockeys helmets off their heads. Let the Titan roll this horse just has to make it to Churchill somehow. When at Churchill he seems ro be a very focused animal and I honestly look for him to right there with them at the end. Good Luck my friend ... Calvin lets make it 4 in 14 brother and release the Cracken.
on April 7, Conquest Titan worked 4F at Churchill Downs on Fast Dirt in :47.40 b finishing 1/28.
really like this pony.. hope he makes the may gate
  • steve.hochman · Me too....holding lots of Vega futures on him. Switch to Calvin Borel for Arkansas Derby is interesting. He does know how to ride closers. · 517 days ago

IS EVERYONE BLIND??? Conquest Titan is a cinch at Churchill ... Watch the races .... he is being reserved. Mark is prepping him perfectly for one big showing in May!!! EAZZZZZzzzzzy Money!!
  • indiancharlierules · You must be kidding. Casse wouldn't know how to win the Derby if it came up and bit him you know where, he's a joke. · 543 days ago
  • tmallios1 · Indian it is not Casse. Has something to do with the horses he has.Just not good enough. But case is very capable of saddling the winner.Even if he has an equipment change for that day. Band Aid on,in the you know what!!!! · 543 days ago
on March 1, Conquest Titan worked 5F at Palm Meadows on Fast Dirt in 1:02.25 b finishing 20/35.
Conquest Titan was flattered this weekend by Intense Holiday and General A Rod, both whom he has previously beaten in his last two starts. I'm really looking forward to his next performance.

  • Sullivan · He is not nominated to the Hawthorne Derby, Dwyer or Peter Pan with this guy? Hope it is the latter. · 551 days ago
  • tmallios1 · Nathan,not MOMINATED, sound familiar???? · 551 days ago
I think really highly of this guy; if he gets to the Derby, he'll be making some noise. He'll love that long stretch there, and he's got a tremendous kick.
Today's results took nothing away from my liking of this guy. I still like him in the FLA Derby (even with a speed biased track).
on February 22, Conquest Titan worked 4F at Palm Meadows on Fast Dirt in :48.30 b finishing 6/71.
Conquest Titan won't go in FOY will wait for Florida Derby..Casse said horse is fine..wanted more time between races

Similarities between Conquest Titan and 2009 Derby winner Mine that Bird - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AD933vWNr_k
I had an odd feeling about this horse..that he was a Dark Horse for this race. Maybe he's still shady enough to be Dark.

  • Sullivan · Not sure why so many want to run at Gulfstream. Plenty of easy points at the Fair Grounds for horses who like to run late · 580 days ago
Shaun just left too much ground to be made up, but still very impressed by his run today. Still like him a lot moving forward.

  • steve.hochman · Not so sure they intended to change tactics at Churchill or whether it was lucky to discover he's a nice closer. Comment was lost footing at the break...whatever the reason, they clearly learned a lot in the Churchill allowance and loved his Holy Bull. Got him in the futures at 150-1 back in early December...hope he keeps moving forward! · 580 days ago
  • Floridaf · Steve, the plan prior to the CD race was to change tactics, but they certainly did not intend for him to be as far back as he was due to losing his footing at the break. Casse really didn't even want him as far back as he was in the Holy Bull, but racing luck can be a b**ch sometimes. · 580 days ago
Bridgmohan and Casse were snubbed last year and are hungry!!!
This horse has changed his running style, beat general arod,(who came back to win GP derby) and is training li
