medlocke · Workforce hasn't been disgraced in any of his races this season by any means. But that said, Workforce also doesn't look nearly the same horse as a 4yr.old that we saw smash the Epsom Derby record and win the Arc as a 3yr.old. In my opinion, you're just throwing $$$ away if you're backing Workforce for a repeat Arc win this year. Sarafina, So You Think, Galikova, Snow Fairy, Reliable Man, and possibly even St Nicholas Abbey are all likely to get home ahead of Workforce at Longchamp this year, IMO. · 636 days ago ·

I don't know what kind of odds American betting sites are going to let Confront go off at? But on European betting sites he's 200-1 to win the King George. This is a colt that has 5 wins and 4 place efforts in 15 lifetime starts. He is a multiple Group 3 and listed stakes winner, and also ran a very good 2nd to Aqlaam in a Group 2 race at Ascot in 2009. He just recently worked for the King George with stablemate Workforce who is the heavy race favorite. The article said Workforce ran down Confront to go on an beat him by about 4 lengths. Still, in a race like this, a $2 bet on Confront could land a man some money if some strange things happened in the race. JMO
