  • kay.robinett · RIP. Horrible news. Very sad for the filly, her connections, and for all of us who are fans of horse racing. Such a promising filly, such a huge loss. · 67 days ago ·
Rest in Peace, Chriselliam.

  • travel_vic · I still lament the day I stayed home when he ran at Hollywood · 94 days ago ·
  • airedale2008 · Dr. Fager did what so many eastern horses could not do - win with authority on the hard, pasteboard surface at Hollywood Park. Drawing post 11 in a 14 horse field with speedsters Kissin' George, Dr. Roy E and Rising Market gunning for the lead, he cruised home to win by three. John Nerud flew him out Thursday, raced Saturday and flew back to Belmont Park Sunday. You should have skipped work that day, being as close as you were. · 94 days ago ·

  • DANCERS1FAN · NO horse that runs ONCE in this country deserves to win an Eclipse Award in my opinion. These awards are for American races and are supposed to be for the best whole year - not one race! If Animal Kingdom had won in England this year, you wouldnt see him getting a Cartier award... · 105 days ago ·
  • travel_vic · that kind of bias will send even MORE of the good (and by the way BEST turfers in the world) away back to their home base. If they are dominant, which each year they usually are, they win. NO MATTER · 105 days ago ·

  • amino998 · That feeling he got watching Beholder on the backstretch is what it's all about. · 163 days ago ·
  • jonquil · I'll be honest, I kind of do wish I could've seen a Wise Dan vs Frankel showdown this year. :) Sadly, they decided to retire him instead. · 163 days ago ·
That win didn't suprise me at all.

  • jonquil · Based on her last race, this wasn't that unexpected of an outcome. A bit disappointed with Al Thakhira, but I'm glad Testa Rossi came in so well. :) · 165 days ago ·
  • jmac500 · @TcCWell she is a Euro. · 165 days ago ·
Chriselliam was much the best in this race. All week long she really has been one of the top buzz horses during her works at Santa Anita, and she showed today that her win in the G1 Shadwell Fillies Mile at Newmarket back in September was no fluke.

  • tmallios1 · Blabs at this stage of the game with him,i am already behind the 8 ball .I have missed so many Wedding celebrations with him, i sure as hell do not want to show up for the funeral. It will be interesting today,to see what type of track we have,if it is like yesterdays and Thursdays. No longer handicap the horses, but the track itself.I mean seriously,Goldencents.Yes ,i know he was working super al week.He is familiar and has run great over Santa Anita. But when a horse goes .21/44/1.08 and he is pushed through these fractions. Then only 1 horse in the race, mildly threatens him.Something is wrong.I would have to think that the track should move up Artemis and Shes a Tiger upeven more today.I am now very curious in the Sprint, you have been wathcing Cali racing longer than i have.Have you ever seen .42 HALF MILE. With these speed balls,we might see it.Originally i liked the Lumber Guy,due to his being a closer. After yesterday, absolutely no confidence in any horse running on the dirt today. How do they soup up the turf,Do they mow it extra close??? · 165 days ago ·
  • travel_vic · Guy in the press box was touting this one as the bet of the Breeder's Cup...Guess he was correct · 165 days ago ·

  • Capper · Clenor is my pick right now. Even before her US debut the O'Neill barn was talking BC for her & she hasn't done anything to think any different. · 180 days ago ·
  • Davidm9999 · I certainly hope Clenor works lights out befor the BC. Why? I want to play against her aggressively. She has run slower than par while beating absolutley nothing in SoCal where the division stinks. I don't think she has been extended but if she takes heavy money (she will) find other viable options who are battle tested versus some real competition. · 180 days ago ·
