What the Horse Racing Nation is saying about Chitu...

is he even going to the derby? last I heard he was on edge 50/50 and if he was going it was for the owners sake not cause bob had confidence he can win

  • Averie Elizabeth · Are you kidding me? I have a better chance in the Derby than him. Baffert has as much a chance of winning the Derby whether he only enters Hoppertunity or Hoppertunity, Chitu, and Midnight Hawk (who as far as I'm concerned is out). · 9 hours ago ·

why isnt chitu getting any love for winning the ky derby he has race four very good races and has showen a horses toughness at the moment of truth.
  • striped mentality · I like him a lot, always have. I think he has a good shot at winning/ending up in they money come Derby. He doesn't get much credit, but that'll just make it that much more fun when he proves the nay-sayers wrong. · 13 hours ago ·

  • travel_vic · Ofen over looked phenomenon. I was going to bet the good turfer Hitchcock when he came to Hollywood one Summer but I was tipped by a vet that he was a terrible shipper and stayed off him to my relief as he demonstrated that to be true right out there on the course acting up all the way to the gate. · 5 days ago ·

Now why wouldn't Baffert give this horse a shot at the Derby?
He's got some definition... almost looks like a quarter horse. Thoughts on him for the derby? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BlB-EKHCEAEHAkq.jpg

If Chrome is the big horse and he beat Chitu by 1/2 lgth in his 1st time around two turns then Chitu comes back and runs a good 1 1/8 time(102 Bris) Y? does no one think this horse is capable?
