What the Nation is saying about Central City...

Would be nice to have someone post a picture of Central City for his profile page so people can put a face to the horse. I found a great picture on VA TB's Blog but cannot post it as I am ont the photographer of the photo on their website. It is a great shot of him winning the Jim McKay Turf Sprint Stakes @ Pimlico in 2010 with. J. Laparoux aboard
Anyone know what happened to this guy? All I read was he collapsed in the stretch and died! How sad! :( RIP Central City

The worst thing was seeing him laying on the track NOT MOVING! It was also a very crowded day, many kids were there. I said to my wife, who was already in tears, he must have had a heart attack. Just now she read stories about all of his breathing problems. He would have been alive if they had just donated him to someone and used as a lightly ridden personal horse. But no, he was ridden to death!
