  • KyOaksRunner · Twirling Candy should win this easy if he runs his race this time. It looked like he got intimidated and dropped back in the SA Handicap with all the bumping going on. · 250 days ago ·

  • DeadHeat · I think he rebounds as well. The sharp take back in the SAH may have been a combo of just having nothing left after playing pinball and intimidation. It's hard to say who was the true cause of all of that. GOD did shift out and brushed him, TC way overreacted. He should do much better this time out. · 250 days ago ·

  • DeadHeat · Bearing our can indicate inexperience also. Most horses running in the Derby exert an effort that they have never had to do before, and bearing out in the stretch is also not uncommon, especially for a horse who was in his fifth lifetime start. He got ahead and probably lost focus, which a lot of horses will do. · 266 days ago ·

  • Mike in SB · I think he has a big shot at the Triple Crown. The Preakness winner usually comes out of the Derby and Mucho Macho Man looks like the only horse from the Derby that could beat him. The Belmont will be tough, but it seems to be a riders race and Animal Kingdom will have a great jockey for the Belmont This could be the year! · 266 days ago ·
