Has Broadway's Alibi been retired?
  • Geretina · I think so. She was supposed to come back to train in late August/early September for the Gulfstream season so something has gone wrong with her. · 79 days ago ·

Broadway’s Alibi gets vacation Trainer Todd Pletcher said Broadway’s Alibi, the multiple graded stakes winner and Kentucky Oaks runner-up, is getting a two-month vacation in Ocala, Fla., and likely won’t run again until the Gulfstream meeting. Broadway’s Alibi, who won the Forward Gal at Gulfstream and the Comely at Aqueduct, finished second to Believe You Can in the Kentucky Oaks. She was never quite the same afterward and the decision was made to skip the Mother Goose and give her a break. “Nothing surgical, just needed some time,” Pletcher said. “She’d be back in training end of August, first of September. We know she loves Gulfstream. They’ve got a nice series of races there.” I found this on DRF, it was posted 07/06/12. So I don't know what the deal is with this filly.

You guessed it … you will not find any of them on my tickets this weekend." LOL....good call...obviously no Oaks/Derby double cashed tickets for you. This is a perfect example why I love reading articles and comments on these horse racing sites. People, whether experts or novices, have absolutely no clue who will win. They're guessing just like the other 50 million of us. · 410 days ago ·
