What the Nation is saying about Brimstone Island...

When the field for Friday's $300,000 Pimlico Special (G3) appeared to come up short, trainer Doug O'Neill considered two options: to enter both Richard's Kid and Handsome Mike or place the latter in a different spot.Read More

  • Brimstone#1 · I cant believe there is another BI fan. i have been folowing trhis horse since he was a 3 year old. He was a Keenland pruchase for $170,000 then they ran him in company as low as 7500 up at Charlestown. I wanted to buy him then. But don't know the rules as I shoud, My buddy was willing to loan th money last year but just did not have he means. I told Cocoa about this one. He was nominated for all 3 triple crown races and did not run in one. Glad to know someone has picked up on this guy. Imagine , could have bought him for $7.500. Out of TIZNOW and grand son of Broad Brush. alreadey made with todays win close to a 1/4 million. Campbell nees to start running in some stakes. Life is about going for the gusto., Fellow Brimstone fan. Check out my other posts. · 51 days ago ·

  • Capper · I'm leaning toward Creative Cause, with all that trouble & the wide trip, he was right there at the wire. Plus, he'll easily be triple the odds of Bodemeister/I'll Have Another. With all the love Went the Day Well is getting, he may drift up to 10-1. · 368 days ago ·

  • johnsnare · We have the Belmont at a mile and one half. It will take a pretty special horse to navigate, and win the Belmont. I will wait to see the new shooters, before I make my selection. · 365 days ago ·

While a large field remains likely, the lineup for the 137th Preakness Stakes underwent some alterations Friday as Kentucky Derby third-place finisher Dullahan as well as Derby pace factor Trinniberg were removed from consideration while newcomers Teeth of the Dog and Zetterholm were added to the mi...Read More
When I mean same Joke I mean Perez. He is terrible
Billy, wtf going with the same Joke again. You changed up with Costa then put this same stiff on him again. If the horse is to strong for your jockey you should think about a Ron Turcotte for him. You are destroying the potential legacy of this horse. He should have won today by 2 lengths but overpowered the Joke again. I expect to see him in the Preakness with a new "Jockey". Try Edgar Prado or Stewart Elliot real Jockeys. This horse can be special. Come on man.
Campbell, It's time for a new jockey don't you think. This jockey has gotten this horse into trouble in every race he has been in. Wake up!
Alpha boarded a Tex Sutton flight to Farmingdale, Long Island, following his final serious Wood work at Palm Meadows, where he went a half-mile in 49.17. Read More
Been following this horse since his 2nd race. Was purchased for $170,000 at Keenland with great pedigree Tiznow and the daughter of the bruiser Broad Brush. Granted he was running in cheap company but has run in 2 stakes his last 2 races. Finished second to The Lumber Guy in the Moracle Wood. He never gave up even though the jockey took him 6 or7 wide around the final turn. Finshed 3rd this past weekend in the Private Terms. May have won is the race was longer as he was driving vs Pletchers horse Raconteur. Don't know what the owners plans are but if he can pick up a win in one of the final KD prep race I believe he will be a factor in The Derby. Image you could have claimed this one at Charlestown for $7500. Go Brimstone
