  • Floridaf · He never really had the chance to live up to the hype, Tim. I think he could have done it this year, but he never started again after his runner-up effort in the G2 Westchester. At least we can look forward to seeing his babies hit the track. · 1615 days ago
...will face five opponents in the one-mile Lemon Drop Kid overnight stakes at Belmont Park on Father's Day.

Track: AQUEDUCT Four Furlongs in 49.13 Breezing. First workout since his 2nd place finish to To Honor And Serve.
On April 10, breezed five panels in 1.01:52 (2/4) at Aqueduct.
2 Questions. 1) Was this horse HYPED? 2) Did he fulfill that Hype?
  • Mary Z. · Just a little hyped as a two year old. Hasn't fulfilled any alleged hype quite yet, although he did beat the good filly Groupie Doll, for a minor brag, he's coming back. Not there yet in terms of stakes wins. Was this yes-no? Yes(somewhat), No(not yet). · 1783 days ago
  • Floridaf · As I said before, BAT was hyped because he was on the Derby trail and turned in some fantastic performances. As a two-year old, he lived up to his hype since he was never worse than 2nd while racing in a MSW, two Grade 1s, and a Grade 3. As an older horse, he has not yet "proved" himself at the stakes level, but I appreciate that Dutrow has been taking his time bringing this colt back. So, yes he was hyped, and yes, he fulfilled that hype as a two-year old, which, if I may, was when he was getting all the hype in the first place. · 1778 days ago
On March 30, breezed a half mile in 49:07 (10/19) at Aqueduct.

Boys At Tosconova turned in a 5 furlong work in preparation for the Gulfstream Park Handicap. He completed the move in 1:01.20 (5/17) at Gulfstream Park.
Boys At Tosconova wins again and he looks like he's back on track!
Is racing the 27th in an allowance race at one mile at GP. His next start then will be the Gulfstream Park Hcp. Gr. 2.
Running Sat Oct 8 in the 1st at Belmont. Tapizar and Uptowncharlybrown also entered
I can't wait to see this guy come back to the races!
Boys At Tosconova is cleared to start jogging for 30 days back at aqueduct now! Cant wait to see him race again!
He's officially OFF the trail as of 2/13/11. A bit mysterious.
Announced by TVG to be skipping start in Holy Bull because of a lack of works. Will Dutrow wait for the Fountain of Youth or will he send BAT to Tampa or Oaklawn?
  • racecaller · A shame... everyone talks about Uncle Mo, but BAT was clearly second-best in the BC and is one to watch as well... whether it's going short or long. · 2218 days ago
Let us not waste our time getting excited about this one for the triple crown...he will probably go to the derby and finish last but will come back and win the sprint stake on the Belmont undercard.
Much more impressive in BC Juvenile than what I thought he would be. I wondered if he could go the distance, but was clearly the best besides Uncle MO
