  • likin sparks · Yes, so far I think that is and if Johnny V. didn't have such a tight hold on him trying to reserve his speed in the beginning one could just imagine what his Beyer could have been. The horses training regimen is just sick so the need for holding him back wasn't necessary at 1 1/8th that distance is baby steps for this guy. · 394 days ago ·

With Ramon Dominguez aboard, Martin Schwartz’s Stacelita completed major preparations for Saturday’s Grade 1, $500,000 Flower Bowl Invitational with a 1:02.94 five-furlong breeze over soft turf Sunday morning.   “We’re very happy,” said trainer Chad Brown. “We’re on target for the Flower Bowl. ...Read More
  • medlocke · I applaud the switch in jockey's from Joe Bravo to Ramon Dominguez for Stacelita last time when she won the G1 Beverly D. Stakes at Arlington in convincing fashion. I really believe if Stacelita would've had the services of Ramon Dominguez at Monmouth for the G1 United Nations that Stacelita would've beaten Teaks North in that race, too. She got a horrible ride from Joe Bravo in that race. If Stacelita rolls through the Flower Bowl Stakes as impressively as she did the Beverly D.? You better watch out for this mare in this year's BC F&M Turf. Because she'll take a ton of beating, IMO. · 604 days ago ·
