This is a really smart looking 2yo!! Bershire looked plum beaten a furlong out in the G2 Royal Lodge Stakes, but jockey Jim Crowley somehow got more out of him when they came up out of the dip at Newmarket and he won by a nose in a bunch finish!! Impressive winner of the listed Chesham Stakes at Ascot back in June and now a winner of the G2 Royal Lodge Stakes at Newmarket today, and the best part is Bershire is Breeders Cup nominated and this was a "win and your in" challenge race for the BC Juvenile Turf.
