Older Comments about Beauty Parlour...

Really a bummer that Beauty Parlour's been scratched from today's G1 Lockinge Stakes field. I've been waiting for her to make another appearance for awhile now. I've been a big fan of this filly from her early days racing for trainer Ellie Lellouche in France.
This talented filly is still owned and races in the colors of Ecurie Wildenstein. But awhile back was sent from trainer Ellie Lellouche's yard in France to Sir Henry Cecil's yard in Great Britain to continue her racing career. After seeing Beauty Parlour win the French 1000 Guineas and run a valiant 2nd behind Valyra(RIP) in the French Oaks, I was so hoping we'd get to see this filly run in the Arc this year. But it appears Sir Henry Cecil had instead decided to drop Beauty Parlour back to a mile again. Her first start for Cecil will be in the G1 Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday. Beauty Parlour is currently the 11-4 co-favorite with Elusive Kate in the ante-post betting right now for the Sun Chariot.
  • footlick · two really nice fillies. · 1646 days ago
  • northport · agreed, it will be a great race. It's unfortunate she won't be pointed toward the arc this year, but its going to be a monster of a race nonetheless · 1646 days ago
One of the best 3yr.old filly's in Europe, and I don't think it's a big stretch to say that Beauty Parlour may be one of the best 3yr.old's in Europe outright. Male or female? She's left the yard of trainer Elie Lellouche in France and has been sent to the yard of Sir Henry Cecil in Great Britain. A bit of controversy surrounding the trainer change, though. As it's now being said by some horse racing insiders that Beauty Parlour will not be trained to run in the G1 Prix De l' Arc De Triomphe at 12f this season as many thought she would be, but will instead be dropped back in trip with some one mile group stakes races now on her agenda for Sir Henry Cecil.
  • footlick · Cecil is conservative with his young fillies usually · 1716 days ago
  • yukichan · Excited, however, by the prospect that Cecil has said he'd like to bring her to Breeder's Cup. · 1716 days ago
Bit of a rough start might have cost her the Diane and her first loss, losing today to surprise winner, longshot Valyra.
Vielen, vielen Dank! Die WAREN SCHON MONTIERT!
Before all is said and done this season, this filly may end up being the best 3yr.old in Europe. Male or female. After Sunday's win in the G1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches(French 1000 Guineas), she remains an unbeaten 4 for 4. She's an incredibly talented filly owned by Ecurie Wildenstein that there's rapidly becoming a large interest in with the ante-post betting for this year's Arc De Triomphe. Sh hasn't gone beyond a mile yet? But Beauty Parlour's breeding suggest that middle distances should be no problem for her? She's sired by the great Japanese champion, Deep Impact. Out of a Giant's Causeway mare. So she's an impeccably bred filly to say the least. For those who have yet to see Beauty Parlour race? You can find the replays of her 2 most recent wins in the G3 Prix de La Grotte and in Sunday's G1 French 1000 Guineas on YouTube. Give this filly a look. She's awfully talented.
  • ILuvTurfRacing · Beauty Parlour's likely to step up to 10f for the first time in her next start. Which in all likelihood will be in the G1 Prix De Diane(French Oaks). · 1781 days ago
  • Armada · Loving her pedigree. · 1781 days ago
