Awzaan

If there's any 3yr.old colt in the UK that's got a shot at beating St Nicholas Abbey in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket on May 1st, Awzaan may be the one that could. He goes into the Guineas 4 for 4 lifetime, with his most recent victory having been the Middle Park Stakes. Awzaan doesn't have the flashy, eye catching turn of foot that St Nicholas Abbey possesses, but he does have very good tactical speed. Enough to stay close in the race. Then, that's when Awzaan grind's you down, and grind's you down. He really is a very grind it out colt. To the point that he wears you down enough to get to the wire first. IMO.
