Adena Springs reports that Awesome Feather has been confirmed in foal to Medaglia D'Oro and is loving life on the farm.
Medaglia D'oro is a good sire,With all the classic quality Awesome Again Tiznow cross's I say go Tiznow in 2014 as a sire.
Awesome Feather is booked to Medaglia D'oro for 2013
Who would you like to see her breed to? I like the option of Bernardini.
Has been retired. http://www.adenastallions.com/news/?c=3#456

Woah, she just did NOT handle that race very well at ALL. I wasn't even aware she was running in it before the ending comments
  • cocoa2 · She was once a very good filly who could beat RD. Now RD matured and this one's health declined. I was surprised she finished so late, but did not include her in any suspicions. · 1603 days ago
HRTV reports that Chad Brown said Awesome Feather cooled out just fine and appeared to not have handled the track very well.
  • travel_vic · one of these days the connections are going to come with a better excuse. That one has a beard a mile long on it. · 1603 days ago
Got schooled today by no fault of her own, the connections need to get her more involved in racing to take on the big dogs.

  • wantwoman100 · Mike Shutty said to throw her out of your bets ..of course he noting always going to be right ..I agree with Cocoa.. injury make a big different when your coming into the best of the best · 1603 days ago
I look forward to the ladies classic what a field! Awesome of Course has done a incredible job as a sire with small books of mares.Bring him to KY bread him to some G1 and G2 mares and we may see a bunch more of Awesome Feathers running for breeders cups. She is very talented
Awesome should run in the Classic against the boys.

  • Floridaf · Questing or Royal Delta would be my picks for the Classic as far as the fillies and mares go. Feather hasn't been tried at 10 f, but Questing and RD have both tried and won at 10 f. · 1646 days ago
If she goes in the Ladies Classic, she'll surely win without much effort.

  • GregRiessland · i think with the speed going in the race, royal delta has a good edge. awesome feather is good, but other than r heat lightning, she hasn't run into some real horses to push her. even with her undefeated i can"t just assume she walks all over everyone. · 1646 days ago
wooow 1:33.² awesome on to the Ladies Classic

It would appear that Awesome Feather has scared away some of her competition. Four scratches in the Nasty Storm leaves a field of 5.
Can't wait to see her back out on the Track.

  • Floridaf · She'll face Cash for Clunkers, but she shouldn't have a problem with this field. · 1652 days ago
Awesome Feather returns Thursday at Belmont in the Nasty Storm Stakes.

  • footlick · Maybe they want to make sure she is ready. She has been injured you know · 1652 days ago
  • Floridaf · She hasn't raced since January. I think this is a solid move for her right now. Depending on how she does and how she comes out of the race, I could see Brown giving her another prep before the BC if he's willing to do two 3-week turnarounds. I don't see that actually happening, but we saw what Dutrow did with Willy Beamin'. · 1652 days ago
chad brown may be the most under rated trainer in racing. knows where to spot them in their races
  • travel_vic · One of the truly under appreciated apsects of some claiming trainers. Most keep them too high · 1654 days ago
On August 16, Awesome Feather breezed a half mile in 49:12 (7/26) at Saratoga.
“Awesome Feather is doing really well; she couldn’t possibly be doing any better. I think we’ll probably get one race in before the Breeders’ Cup, but I don’t know where." ~Chad Brown
She worked four furlongs in 49:29 over Saratoga's dirt training track this morning. 1/13. Her goal is Breeder's Cup Ladies Classic.
