Awesome Again's fee will remain at $75,000 for 2014. Fort Larned will stand for $20,000; Point of Entry for $25,000; Ghostzapper $50,000; Macho Uno $30,000; Einstein $7,500; Tiago $7,500; Touch Gold $5,000; Alphabet Soup $5,000
  • Sullivan · I feel they have Fort Larned a little high and while he may be worth 20k, it's better to stand for a low fee and get better mares than to stand for a high fee and get fewer mares. Ghostzapper's fee is such a wildcard. · 963 days ago
Sire to 3 horses in current power rankings! If Game On Dude wins the Gold Cup today his stock really goes up.
Awesome Again is a very good stallion and I'm perplexed at why breeders won't send mares to him. Only 599 out of 860 registered foals hit the track; only 432 out of 860 have won. I understand that, however his conformation is very nice. Nice, csloping back and big shoulder, good head/neck, and nice feet. His average winning distance is 9.27f and he won from 8-10f. The quality of mares he is getting is devestating. I get his poor %'s, however I think it would rise appropirately. Good sire who is getting enough good mares! Adena does this often.

  • Dressage3295 · Yep, 19 years. I saw him when he was 16 and still looking god. He's getting a bit old now, and his coat won't have the same shine that it did. Energy levels will be lower too. Einstein's a decent looking thoroughbred. Did you see Ghostzapper? A bit thicker than his stud, but bears a good resemblance to him. What about Touch Gold? He's another looker · 1114 days ago
  • Sullivan · I did see Ghostzapper and have pics to prove it, he is an amazing specimen, but again lacked presence · 1114 days ago
i just do not understand why they aren't sending Zenyatta, Rachel Alexandra, or mares of that caliber to Awesome Again, he could very well be pensioned in a couple of years. he is an AWESOME sire. he has produced Ghostzapper, Round Pond, Awesome Feather, Ginger Punch, Paynter, Oxbow, Game On Dude, & many other exceptional horses. not to mention the fact that he was a great racehorse himself.

  • Sullivan · What I mean is these G1 champions are fantastic, but I prefer War Front who seems to spread his quality as far as stakes horses go · 1116 days ago

****awesome again... new line europe.. best of the best... vedi pedigrees.. dalakhani... awesome again... mr. prospector...
****dalakhani.. un caballo excelente..mejor que darshan.miswaki como padre de madre mejora la linea de darshan.. pero el turf es un mundo de intereses.. "perfecto para cruzar con sadler's wells"
Love his pedigree, he might be a good choice for Zenyatta.
Turned out to be a fabulous stallion.
Undefeated four year old campaign but lost out for Horse of Year
