What the Nation is saying about Archwarrior...

Archwarrior, Doctor Chit, and Rattlesnake Bridge have been retired to Hartley/DeRenzo for 2014
Putting this under his name; I haven't heard much "backstretch buzz" about 2 year olds at the Spa this year. Has anyone heard of any 2 year olds that are training particularly well this summer?
i have a list of a few horses that haven't worked out for awhile & i was wondering if anyone knew if they were still active. - Archwarrior, Bern Identity, Emcee, Guyana Star Dweej, Hear the Ghost, Ive Struck a Nerve, Mark Valeski, Narvaez, Pants On Fire, Purple Egg, Renee's Titan, Tara From the Cape, The Lumber Guy, Unstoppable U, & Went the Day Well.

  • Northport · Emcee was in Dubai over the winter with Mahmood Al Zarooni, and if he ended up going back to Newmarket with him, which - based on their website - he did, he would have been banned from running until the tests for rest of the horses at Moulton paddocks came back, which took a month or so. While it says Alpha returned to the US, it says Emcee is trained by 'Godolphin', which was what was put for all of the horses who were under the care of Al Zarooni · 297 days ago ·
  • Northport · Went The Day Well underwent tieback surgery in the middle of March and was expected to get 60 days off at least - http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/76840/went-the-day-well-to-undergo-tieback-surgery · 297 days ago ·
Does anyone know what's going on with this horse?

  • amino998 · By betting all 4 you'd only be getting 3-1 on the 3 shorter priced colts. Better to await attrition and the firming of your opinion. Have fun. · 431 days ago ·
  • buds · It was easier last few years with earnings. Id bet some horses that already made the cut, Delta Jack Pot winners, BC winners, Major states etc. Any horse that had $200K plus in earning was in the KD. This year 2/3 of the futures might not make it. I guess thats why the field was 3/2. · 431 days ago ·

  • thatbigbay · He's an undeniably talented colt, and I anticipate his spring season. That said, his sire is sprinter Into Mischief, and his grandsire if Harlan’s Holiday, who finished second in multiple 10 furlong stakes, but seemed to run his best at 9 furlongs. Goldencents’ dam is Golden Works, who found her success sprinting in the claiming ranks. His broodmare sire is Banker’s Gold, who won on occasion 9 furlongs, but did his best running at shorter distances. I really like him at his current distance, but I'll keep my money to myself when things get long. Of course, you've always got a Smarty Jones or War Emblem who screws things up for us pedigree geeks! · 458 days ago ·

The letter "V" stands for, among other words, Victory. In the horse racing world, especially in trainer Todd Pletcher's stable, "V" stands for Violence and Verrazano.
