  • buds · It was easier last few years with earnings. Id bet some horses that already made the cut, Delta Jack Pot winners, BC winners, Major states etc. Any horse that had $200K plus in earning was in the KD. This year 2/3 of the futures might not make it. I guess thats why the field was 3/2. · 128 days ago ·

  • thatbigbay · He's an undeniably talented colt, and I anticipate his spring season. That said, his sire is sprinter Into Mischief, and his grandsire if Harlan’s Holiday, who finished second in multiple 10 furlong stakes, but seemed to run his best at 9 furlongs. Goldencents’ dam is Golden Works, who found her success sprinting in the claiming ranks. His broodmare sire is Banker’s Gold, who won on occasion 9 furlongs, but did his best running at shorter distances. I really like him at his current distance, but I'll keep my money to myself when things get long. Of course, you've always got a Smarty Jones or War Emblem who screws things up for us pedigree geeks! · 155 days ago ·

Hes being called the second coming. For thoes who dont know there talking about the next Secretariat. Now remember secretariat didnt go undefeated as a 2 year old and he lost his prep before the derby so im not to worried that he wont still be great.

  • Dressage3295 · Personally, I think that if we ever have a second coming of Secretariat (or Dr. Fager, Ruffian, Kelso, Man O' War, etc.) that horse will burn bright right from the start. I say this because these horses could have EASILY outrun the horses of today, and therefore, if one is to be as incredible as they were, they must show such against the current competition. There will be little to no doubt in anyone's mind that the horse is a champion. We are sure to have good horses along the way, but we'll know the very moment they step foot on the track that they are truly great. · 176 days ago ·
