  • Floridaf · As far as turf races go, Lady of Shamrock does have the advantage. She has a G3 win, a G2 place, and a G1 win all on turf; compare that to Eden's Moon's G2 turf win. As for the entire 3-YO filly division, Eden's Moon has the slight advantage, IMO. Of course, none of these fillies have multiple G1 wins, so if a G1 winner takes home one or both of the weekend's races, then she (or they) will automatically rocket to the top of the division. · 605 days ago ·

With ten weeks between her last start in the Kentucky Oaks and yesterday’s date at Delaware Park, Grace Hall may have been a bit of a forgotten entity, but one minute and forty-two seconds after they sprung the gates for the $400,000 Delaware Oaks, she was forgotten no more. Trainer Anthony Dutrow seems to have the $400,000 Delaware Oaks (gr. II) surrounded. Dutrow conditions three of the seven 3-year-old fillies in the field for the 1 1/16-mile test July 14 at Delaware Park, including the highweight, Grace Hall. Read More
What do Broadway’s Alibi, Believe You Can, Amie’s Dini, Hansen, Bodemeister, and Trinniberg all have in common? You guessed it … you will not find any of them on my tickets this weekend. • bigdawginva · "What do Broadway’s Alibi, Believe You Can, Amie’s Dini, Hansen, Bodemeister, and Trinniberg all have in common? You guessed it … you will not find any of them on my tickets this weekend." LOL....good call...obviously no Oaks/Derby double cashed tickets for you. This is a perfect example why I love reading articles and comments on these horse racing sites. People, whether experts or novices, have absolutely no clue who will win. They're guessing just like the other 50 million of us. · 711 days ago ·

If the today’s win by Peachtree Stable’s Mamma Kimbo in the $300,000 Fantasy Stakes (G2) is any indication of how trainer Bob Baffert’s Racing Festival of the South week is going to go then every other trainer will be running for second-place. • KyOaksRunner · @Andy - Baffert is in a dream spot right now with Princess Arabella, Mamma Kimbo and Eden's Moon, and that's just the fillies! I agree, Grace Hall looked amazing and won with very little effort. · 727 days ago ·
