Slowly get back into form.
will try turf for the first time this weekend. Amarish is entered in the Baffle Stakes at Santa Anita on March 2. (5:00 PM)
what ever happened to him.
  • tcglory · he started way to early and as the time went on wasnt as good as everyone else grew up he didnt and also had the jackgoodman stakes curse simple as that · 706 days ago
I think he should be on the turf. Gosh, I thought he would win. They just need to change his running style to be from the back of the pack to the front.
  • ThatBigBay · Easier said than done, unfortunately. Some horses will only run at/on the pace. When you try to pull back these types, they often either brace against you and run even faster or "sulk" and completely give up the race. Not that it can't be done.. but it's improbable. · 873 days ago
Looks like he's just like every other William Proctor winner. One-dimensional.
Wasn't able to see him race, if it started what were the results? (Best Pal stakes)
I hope he can rebound in the Best Pal Stakes. If he can't he'll end up like Majestic City... but worse (because he lost the Juvinile)
I like how everyone starts bagging on him when he's won two thirds of three races, but I will admit I thought it was to good to be true.

  • Jmac500 · I honestly think the loss was good for him, and they'll changeh his style. · 886 days ago
This horse is sooooo overrated just like so many other 2yo!!!!!They are barely starting to run and they are almost in a rating of 8.......
  • UnionRagsRules · If you check how to rate a horse on here, if he's in a rating of 7 thats a Grade 3 winning performance. Just saying · 886 days ago
Poor thing, did he get bumped or hesitate in the gate?
Looked horrible!!

Faded horribly. Wow.
Trainer Jeff Bonde reports unbeaten Amarish, easy winner of the Willard L. Proctor Stakes June 16th, is doing super and the trainer is looking forward to running the Scat Daddy gelding in Saturday’s, $150,000, Grade III Hollywood Juvenile Championship at six furlongs.

  • AubreyKidder · Yeah, he definetly has a better distance pedigree. Plus, this guy loves to run. His jockey had to really try to hold him back in his last race · 899 days ago
  • Horsefan90 · I'm looking forward to seeing how this horse runs on the east coast as a three-year old. · 898 days ago
His early 2 for 2 record suggests he runs fast, strong and he WINS by large margins against decent competition! Pedigree is sublime! All considered, betting he can continue the success?
Anyone know where he is going next? I cannot wait to see him run again!
Looks GREAT!!! Jockey had good control throughout the race- horse looks well educated, great feel for the track
Can't wait to see this one as a three year old.
Proved why he is currently the #1 2-YO colt with a decisive win in the Willard Proctor Memorial Stakes.
