What the Nation is saying about All Squared Away...

A solid field of 12 sophomore males make up a very interesting Saturday afternoon feature at Belmont Park tomorrow in the Grade 2, $200,000 Peter Pan Stakes. There will be at least one scratch in the traditional steppingstone for the final leg of the Triple Crown, however, as we know Teeth of the Do...Read More
  • AmbitiousD · I like your pick in Summer Front. Mark Valeski looks tough, but I can see an upset in the making here with either Summer Front or Le Bernardin. I think the 9f is just a tad long for The Lumber Guy and Master Rick, but it will be a fun first 6 furlongs. · 12 days ago ·

The second biggest longshot to win a Kentucky Derby prep might be up for sale if anyone is interested. All Squared Away won Saturday's Lexington Stakes as the 70-1 outsider in the 11-horse field. Only Hero of Order at 109-1 was a longer shot when winning the Louisiana Derby three weeks earlier.Read More

  • shadowno · Maybe betting Ward in the blind? He has been kind of on fire. Otherwise, Mr. Thirsty is a way better handicapper than I, so well done. Thought Clement's horse was gonna get up even with all the trouble. · 32 days ago ·

  • icyhotboo · I like the #2, just not today as I don't think he is anywhere close to form. #7 shows a classic performance prior to a big run today. #6 should improve and I do like Went The Day Well in the KD mix so he's logical. #3 is he just good or great, that last race was really a lot better than a 95 spd figure that's why I don't pay attention to sp figures as they are so subjective. That was a very good horse he beat who was going off at 1/5 by 10 lengths and he beat the rest by 10 lengths.A 1:16.4 at TP that's a big run. · 33 days ago ·

  • Mary Z. · I agree with you, icy, about not being able to ignore the speed of the 3. I've followed the 2 since before he started as he was one of those tried out without the L(but has since sadly added it.) Turf to dirt has paid off for me before, this time it's 5 mos. later for him. Then the 7 that can go ahead and use whatever speed he's got in this shorter race. Since we don't have much to go on with the 2, why not have another one up front? Finally the 6, at least consistent, has been this distance and should be around to close. · 33 days ago ·
